I am thrilled to be doing something a little different with this maternity. We are going to do shoots every 4 weeks so there will be an awesome progression of portraits from her maternity. I’m itching for it to warm up here so we can go do some outdoor stuff. Isn’t she beautiful? Wish I had that hair (and that cute belly!). Be on the look-out for more of her over the next couple of months. Thanks for being such a GREAT sport Arrianna!
We adore our new dog Ella (short for Cinderella). She is 18 months old and such a sweet dog! My mom is a breeder and trainer and she knew Ella would be the absolute perfect fit for our family. Boy was she right! You’ll notice one of her eyes looks a bit goofy. She has a little eye problem that needed to be corrected (she teared up all the time). Kirby calls her our “biker dog” with her AWESOME scar, LOL!

Spring has sprung (but I think somebody forgot to tell God…the weather still STINKS!).
Reserve a newborn session in April and receive 48 custom designed birth announcements compliments of J9 Photography, as well as a 20% discount on all portraits from the session. Talk about an AWESOME way to celebrate new life!
Session does not need to be in April. However, current reservation rules for the session do apply.
All newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your own home just after you come home from the hospital. This allows me to capture them in that awesome, squishy…curled up and sleepy stage during the first days of life.

I’m blessed and blessed and blessed to find these LOVELY ladies and their bellies. Mrs. S is having a boy. She has to be one of the most serene, peaceful people I have met in a while. And, she was up for anything I had going…including a mummy wrap of her belly (as pictured here). Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this sweet and wonderful time for you!
Besides a perfect belly, this girl is GORGEOUS! I know, I didn’t pick any previews with her face, LOL! I couldn’t help myself, I just loved both of these as well. Forgive me and just believe me on the gorgeous bit. She was so fun, patient (she’s a teacher, so she’s naturally patient) and will be a fantastic mom. Ahhhh…there’s NOTHING like getting back into the saddle again…with my FAVORITE type of shoot, NEWBORNS! This little sweet boy has a ton of hair (and I commented on how my littlest one would have liked that when she was born). He was an absolute angel of a baby during our shoot. Mr. and Mrs. C you + God make BEAUTIFUL babies!!! Thank you for the honor of allowing me to photograph your newest addition. Congratulations!!!
Yes, you heard right. I’m in need of some bellies…pregnant bellies to be more specific! Being BRAND spankin’ new to Virginia and needing to get some new images for several national publications who want my work for their magazines…well, that combo means I need to ask YOU to help me.

It only took months and months…but we are officially in Winchester, Virginia. We have just moved into our new house and I can honestly say I’m COMPETELY sick of boxes!!! I should have the new studio set up at least partially by end of this week. I imagine it will be a couple of weeks before I get it all done though. I have a GREAT space (and SO much of it) in our new place. Talk about blessed!
I also have the wonderful honor of being published in the upcoming release of the Expectant’s Mother’s Guide for the Washington D.C. area. It should be released this spring. The article I have written is the ABC’s of taking great pictures of your kids.
It looks like I will be back to Georgia several times a year from now on…so I can still do several shoots a year there if you are interested.
