It’s hard to believe, but there are very few spring weekend sessions left.  I guess we are all feeling antsy and ready to get out of our caves!  I thought I’d give you a heads up on what is still available.  Act quick, these won’t last long.  Spring shoots are LOVELY for family portraits.

Being buried (almost alive) by the Christmas rush means I rarely post anything.  #1. Because …most clients are doing Christmas cards and don’t want ANYBODY to see their portraits prior to sending them out.  #2. I barely have a moment to actually go to the bathroom… let alone post anything.

Let’s just say I really couldn’t help myself here.  Consider it a Christmas present to myself.  This little guy is so yummy you could eat him, legs and all.  Makes me seriously yearn for more 9 month old babies in my house.  I totally got carried away taking LOTS of shots of him.  I did throw in a few family ones for good measure too.  So, here’s a quick sneak…a few of my favs.  OK…off to bury myself in my work again until the Christmas cut-off (which is VERY soon!). 

 Space is limited…so book quickly!

These little girls were born full term (38 weeks) and slept like champs!  It was hard picking out which 3 I liked the best, so I didn’t try.  I just picked 3 that showed them together.  I also had the joy of doing the maternity portraits for these little ones, and let me tell you, Mama look amazing (MUCH better than I did and I only ever birthed one at a time!). 

Their parents are easy-going, fun-loving…and down-to-earth people.  It will be so fun to watch them grow up.  Congratulations and many blessings to your beautiful family!

This little cutie pie certainly did do that!  I just love it that when people start calling me the “Baby Whisperer” for my ability to lull newborns into an awesome and peaceful sleep for our sessions…WHAM…God reminds me that NO, I’m not responsible for that, He is.  I have to laugh. 

Although he barely slept for our session, we got some awesome stuff.  I gotta hand it to Mama, she was a trooper!  Doing everything I asked and then some.  Many blessings to your sweet family!

I’ve been posting little bits here and there on my Facebook page, but sometimes forget to share the love here as well.  This little girl was a stubborn little thing.  Breach…so her mama had to have a C-section.  At first she decided sleep was NOT gonna be in her near future during this session.  However, we finally got her to sleep though, all was well with the world.

I did her Big Brother’s newborn portraits over 3 years ago!  Boy how time flies.  There were many brother-sister shots I could have put up here.  However, I crack up when I see this one.  He was so enthralled with the “strange-looking” belly button his sister had.  He kept looking down to make sure his was not the same!  Had me laughing…

This little one was actually quite big…over 9 lbs at birth!  And, he had a bit of a rough start in the hospital.  But, now he’s home…and gorgeous!  Stop by the blog or J9 Photography Facebook page and leave the parents some love…they need it.  They are exhausted!

This couple was an absolute blast.  I think I laughed more last night than I have in a while.  They are expecting twin girls in less than 7 weeks.  She looks AMAZING, doesn’t she?  And, they were up for pretty much anything.  It’s always fun as an artist to have clients who let them just play.  Thank you so much for a fantastic time!  Here’s to many blessings and much happiness!

Seems like something is in the water here these days…and it’s producing the most BEAUTIFUL babies!  Oh how I adore my job.  These little ones are such miracles.  I love hearing each and every story.  The miracle of birth will never cease to amaze me.
